Babylon Town Clerk Gerry Compitello is encouraging residents—especially older adults and caregivers—to attend a Free Health Screening Day hosted by the AFA Barbara Rabinowitz Education & Resource Center, conveniently located in North Amityville.
The event will take place on Thursday, February 12, from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM, at 149 Schleigel Boulevard, Amityville, and will offer a variety of no-cost health screenings and educational resources designed to support overall wellness and early detection.
Available screenings and resources include:
Memory screenings to help identify early signs of cognitive changes
Blood pressure screenings to support cardiovascular health
Balance screenings to assess fall risk and mobility
Information on additional health screenings and services for older adults
All screenings are free, provided on a first-come, first-served basis, and no appointments are required.
