East Farmingdale, NY – Councilman and Chairman of the Veteran Advisory Board DuWayne Gregory, recently convened a productive meeting for veterans of the Town of Babylon. Over two dozen veterans gathered to engage in discussions regarding the latest initiatives and upcoming events organized by the Town.
The meeting featured guest speakers, including local veterans Joseph Regina, Anthony Silvera, and William Linder, who shared insights about veteran benefits and resources available within the community.
Expressing his gratitude, Councilman DuWayne Gregory said, "It was great to see our veterans come together to discuss important matters affecting their lives. These meetings are vital in ensuring that our veterans are informed and engaged here in their local communities."
The American Airpower Museum generously hosted the meeting, providing veterans with the opportunity to explore their exhibits and offering informative tours. Additionally, Hahn’s Old Fashioned Cake Company provided a special treat for the veterans in attendance.
